Vantage Career Center

Opened in December of 2012, the renovations to Vantage Career Center were unveiled. The entire existing facility was gutted and renovated, going from an original 123,000 Sq. Ft. to 187,000 Sq Ft., and became 34.2% more energy efficient. The project required 160 miles of electric wire to be pulled and 34 miles of conduit installed, and also boasts 156 new skylights. In addition, Vantage now has a 5,000-amp electric service, with 1,200 amps going to each of the school’s nine “big bay” labs.

Vantage Career Center is located in Van Wert, Ohio, and provides technical training to high school juniors and seniors from 12 neighboring school districts.  Woolace Electric was responsible for the design and build of all electrical systems including security, access control, sound & paging, the fire alarm system, and telephone & data infrastructure.
